On October 22, 2011 the Hudson River Sloop Clearwater environmental organization hosted a concert n NYC at the Symphony space to honor George Wein with it's first "Power of Song" award. Featured performers along with George Wein included; Pete Seeger, David Amran, Tom Chapin, Guy Davis, Suzanne Vega, Lucy Kaplansky, Toshi Reagon,Richard Barone, Adam Amram, Alana Amran, Tao Seeger, The Chapin Sisters and The Power of Song Singers. It was an amazing night with a full house. These photos include shots from the sound check, green room and concert. They are a just a sampling of what we took that night and we selected them to give you a flavor of the night.
